LOCALS: Disney On Ice FREE Tickets!

Here is a great promotion from The Children’s Home Society of Florida! They have partnered up with Feld Entertainment to provide one ticket for the upcoming Disney On Ice presents Disney/Pixar’s Toy Story to take place at the Amway Arena on Sept. 10th through the 12th.

These tickets will go to those which donate a NEW backpack to the Children’s Home Society of Florida, while supplies last*!

This is their BACK-TO-SCHOOL SUPPLY DRIVE and their goal is to collect over 1,500 backpacks and fill them for children in need. You may drop off your donation now until August 6, 2010 at the Lakeview Office Park located at:

Florida Residents: NEW Monthly Payment Plans for Disney!!

This is a big advancement!

Walt Disney World is now allowing Florida residents to spread the cost of an Annual Park pass out over 12 months. This is great news for us since we live 45 minutes away from Disney World. We visit the park yearly, as having to come up with all that money upfront for the annual passes for our family, was a bit high. Universal Studios and Anheuser-Busch Parks (Aquatica, Seaworld, Busch Gardens) have had their installment plans for a whiile now. We take advantage of it and visit the parks regularly! We are very fortunate to live in this area!

Free Tickets to Walt Disney World or Disneyland

Disney ~ Give a Day. Get a Disney Day.

I know with the economy the way it is, a lot of people have had to cut back on vacations. Disney found a way for the whole family to go, for FREE.
Disney is offering a free day’s admission to the first 1 million guests who complete a day of volunteer work in 2010. They are partnering with HandsOn Network to connect people with projects and to certify the work is done. They have 70,000 affiliated agencies from Habitat for Humanity to local food banks, health care centers, churches and educational centers. You are bound to find something where you will fit in.
Volunteers must register online with Disney and must be residents of US, Canada or Puerto Rico. Participants must be 18 years or older to sign up for the program, but volunteer work done by children 6-17 qualifies them for a free ticket also as long as the kids are accompanied by an adult when volunteering.
I think this would be a great family project. I have been trying to find something that would help us teach our kids “it’s not all about them”. This is a great incentive and hopefully would set a spark in them to continue on serving.
If you volunteer and cannot use the ticket, Disney has a Charity designated that you can donate the certificates to. It’s a win-win.
